Hakone Gardens and Estate Event

We drove down to the Hakone Estates in Saratoga last night for an event co-sponsored by the NMAI called A Harmony of Hemispheres: East and West. The place was very green and peaceful and is the oldest Japanese garden in the western hemisphere. We saw a few performances including one by the San Francisco Taiko Dojo that was amazing and a hoop dance by the 5 time world champ Derrick Suwaima Davis.
