I watched this hilarious episode of the 1970's series "Land of the Lost" called "Medicine Man" featuring...a medicine man. Wow was it BAD! I remember loving this show as a kid, but don't remember this episode at all. Of course, he was accused of stealing some goverment property and was being chased by some guy in the US calvalry when they were both transported into the alternate dimension of the dinosaurs. The calvalry guy got sick and, of course, the Indian painted his face, performed his magic, and saved him. So, in the end, they got along with each other (cue super sappy music). But, since this was the final episode of the series, they are stuck in this alternate dimention - along with the annoying Marshall kids and that weird baby Chewbacca creature. I'm sure the Indian eventually chose to get eaten by a dinosaur or wished he had been caught by the calvary instead. Based on the previews, the new Will Ferrell "Land of the Lost" movie has much better
special effects than the 1970's version, but it still looks like it will be a pretty bad movie. I hope I'm wrong!
