This story was an eye opener!! It's amazing what companies are doing to harvest gold in South America and Africa and how badly it is destroying the surrounding environment. A mountain is turned into a huge chemical infested hole in the ground just for the sake of a few million dollars. Ridonkulous! I'm so glad I'm a turquoise kind of guy and, surprisingly, my KL is not a big fan of gold either!

Harvesting Gold is Destroying the Environment
This story was an eye opener!! It's amazing what companies are doing to harvest gold in South America and Africa and how badly it is destroying the surrounding environment. A mountain is turned into a huge chemical infested hole in the ground just for the sake of a few million dollars. Ridonkulous! I'm so glad I'm a turquoise kind of guy and, surprisingly, my KL is not a big fan of gold either!
