If Skinny Eating Cheeseburgers is still not OK
For many years, research had pointed to caloric restriction as a way to extend life. Previous studies were performed using small animals (mice, rats, worms) and clearly demonstrated an advantage to consuming fewer calories as a way to live longer. This study seems to show that caloric restriction really only improves longevity for obese mammals (mice again). So, if you are lean, it's not as important. Basically, the research shows that you probably need to just burn up through exercise whatever you consume. Eat a cheeseburger and run 10 miles! Not really. The research also showed that it was better to not eat the cheeseburger at all. Darn!!!
