A team of researchers have devised a new method for detecting steroid abuse in cattle. Instead of looking for trace amounts of a steroid, they looked at about 20 different biomarkers in treated and untreated cattle. Their accuracy rate of prediction was between 91-96% and could probably be turned into a portable easy to use device. Now, they just need to figure out the biomarkers for humans! Great news for steroid testers, but bad news for baseball players!
