My world involves treating people with once a day oral drugs. Let's say you could treat the same condition with a single injection or a few injections over the course of your life. Which would you choose? My belief is that stem cells and the transplants of stem cells for various conditions are the wave of the future. They are pretty risky now and totally unproven, but the potential for saving people's lives is there yet unexplored because of the religious nuts in the Bush administration.
