Jaws of Steel

This study reveals that our human ancestors born about 2.5 million years ago had incredible nut-cracking ability.  They used computer simulations of the skulls of these ancestors (A. Africanus) and the muscles that made them work to arrive at their conclusions.  Their hypothesis is that these people's skulls evolved based on their diets that was primarily dependent on cracking hard nuts and seeds.  No word on if they had buns or abs of steel to match their "jaws of steel."
